The cervical spine includes the top seven vertebrae, and allows us to move our necks in all directions. Many conditions affecting the cervical spine can cause neck pain or arm pain. Often this pain may be treated with nonsurgical treatments such as physical therapy, bracing, and pain creams.

If these treatments do not help alleviate the pain, we at NeuSpine Institute will still try to avoid surgery by recommending an epidural steroid injection, facet block  or rhizotomy, all of which can be done in an office setting.

If you still have neck pain at that point, and have an MRI or CT scan showing some degeneration or abnormal anatomy in the neck, we will discuss in easy to understand terms what your minimally invasive surgical options are, to help get you get your life back.
